Agnieszka Tronina, M.D. has been an ophthalmology resident of the Pediatric Ophthalmology Department at the University Clinical Center in Katowice, Poland for over 2 years. Since 2020 she is a PhD researcher researching the topic of congenital glaucoma and the genetic basis of the disease as well as novel treatment modalities.

In the course of her career to she has been looking with the greatest interest at the genetic basis of eye diseases. Dr. Tronina frequently participates in regional and international conferences where she willingly shares the results of her latest research work.

She is also a doctor of aesthetic medicine, with a particular focus on therapeutic approaches to malformations and the aging process of the eye area.
