He has been fortunate to have taken part in many leadership and management roles, not only working as a team member but as a leader. His role as Ophthalmology in Training Representative has helped him develop a deeper understanding on how ophthalmology procedures, guidance and policies are developed and implemented. The role has also given him a deep desire to implement sustainable future changes which will shape his future career.

As the clinical fellow for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Alexander will be in the perfect position to work on the National Outpatient Transformation Programme and work towards improving pathways and workforce within Ophthalmology.
