Anthony Chung, BSc, is a final year medical student at Imperial College London with a BSc in Medical Sciences with Haematology. A keen interest in diabetic retinopathy, primary care and preventative medicine drew him to this audit. The study was supervised by Dr Zehra Rashid, a General Practioner Partner at Broad Lane Surgery, Hampton, in order to assess current diabetic retinopathy screening practices against the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines.
