Program

Objectives: Cet atelier a pour objectif de proposer une stratégie ou démarche diagnostique en cas de baisse d'acuité visuelle avec des altérations de la rétine. Quels seront les signes fonctionnels ou cliniques, quelle protocole d'imagerie multimodale proposer identifier la cause toxique, infectieuse, inflammatoire ou héréditaire.

Introduction: Identifier le processus d'une atteinte rétinienne est parfois difficile en dehors des deux principales causes : la rétinopathie diabétique et la dégénérescence maculaire liée à l'âge.

Materials / method: Au travers de cas cliniques et de questions interactives, nous reprendrons et argumenterons pas à pas la démarche diagnostique de chaque cas présenté inflammatoire ou infectieux ou héréditaire.

Results: Une cause infectieuse peut simuler une rétinopathie héréditaire, une pathologie dégénérative peut simuler une uvéite postérieure.

Conclusion: En conclusion, nous aurons établi progressivement au cours de l'atelier un abécédaire des signes fonctionnels et cliniques à analyser afin de caractériser certaines causes plus rares de baisse d'acuité visuelle pouvant être infectieuses, inflammatoires ou héréditaires.
